  1. In this folder you should have found three files:

  3. 1. IBMKlone.bmap - this is a standard Macintosh screen font and must be
  4. installed in your system file using Apples Font/Da Mover.

  6. 2. IBMKl - this is the Laserwriter font. Simply place this file in yoursystem
  7. folder.

  9. 3. This Read Me file.

  12. IBMKlone is a postscript font designed to display the IBM PC font on the
  13. Macintosh. The character encoding is the same as on the IBM PC and so the Keys
  14. assigned to various characters may be different than you normally use to access
  15. the characters in a Macintosh font. To find a particular character, simply use
  16. your KeyCaps da. If a file is imported from the IBM, the characters will
  17. display correctly without modification.

  19. Deal #1:
  20. This font is shareware. The version you have here is a patch to the existing
  21. Courier font in the LaserWriter. The font is very useful for people preparing
  22. documentation for IBM products. It contains theentire IBM character set
  23. including graphics characters and line characters. The price - if you find it
  24. useful is $10.00

  26. Deal #2:
  27. For $25.00 I will send you another version of the font which has the correct
  28. aspect ratio for IBM screen simulation. Also, a complete set of smooth screen
  29. fonts are included (9,10,12,14,18,24,28,36 points.)

  32. For $50.00 I wil send you everything in Deal #2 as well as the source file for
  33. use in Fontographer so that you can modify the font as required for your own
  34. application.
